ADVISORY BOARD
The IOI-SA Advisory
Board was assembled to help achieve the overall mission of
the Institute. The Board is intended to help guide the
Institute and facilitate its progress where possible.
Board members are selected by IOI-SA based on affiliation
and position.
The Board is composed of between eight
and twelve people. The current Board consists of:

The Director of the International Ocean Institute,
Southern Africa

A minimum of six and maximum of ten persons who are
leaders in their fields and represent a cross-section of
the listed sectors:

Socio-economics

Biodiversity and conservation

Marine science

Marine and coastal management
